The MyChoice home is designed to blend with the community. Our home looks just like every other home in the neighborhood. There is a cozy, calm, homelike feel about our home. It is designed to give adults with acquired brain injury the familiarity of a welcoming and friendly home environment, where each resident has a private room with an attached closet. The residents re encouraged to give their rooms a “personal touch”. The common areas of the home are well lit and tastefully furnished. The home is maintained by both the caregiver staff and those residents who are able to assist. This barrier-free house has been specially modified to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities. Living arrangements include 24-hour supervision and personalized care from trained staff, with the additional benefit of nursing services and more intensive medical support services. The home is also equipped with plenty of outdoor areas for residents to explore.
